Mary Horvath
1922-2019
Mrs. Mary Horvath of Stony Plain, beloved wife of the late Mr. Steve Horvath passed away peacefully at the Stony Plain Care Centre on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the age of 96 years.
Mary is survived by her children; Maryanne (Ernie) Potts of Stony Plain, Vicki (Harry) Poburan of Stony Plain, Helen (Nick) Dobko of Edmonton, Bernard Horvath of Mexico, Frank (Donna) Horvath of Edmonton, Liz (Clarence) Ekstrom of Leduc, Andy (Irene) Horvath of Edmonton, and Christine (Cal) Heitt of Edmonton, daughter-in-law Sherry Horvath of Warburg, sister Marge Horne, as well as 101 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and their families.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Steve Horvath, parents Julia and Ellis Fulop, son Edward Horvath, grandson Cameron Heitt, brothers; Joe Fulop, Philip Fulop, and Charlie Fulop, and sister Irene Cillis.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Athabasca Community Chapel; 3403 48th Avenue, Athabasca, Alberta on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 between 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the People Church; 15641 – 96h Ave, Edmonton, Alberta with pastor Laurence Hueppelsheuser officiating.
