He is survived by his sister, Beverly, brothers; Lloyd (Moe), Ross (Lorretta), George (Vicky), Sherman (Coral), seven children; Roger (Sharon) Seaward, Sylvia Newhook, Debra (Tony) Seaward, Jackie (Hank) Tizzard, Frankie (Gord) Strepaniuk, Kim (Darwin) Greentree, Jennifer (Michael) Taylor, fifteen Grandchildren; Bobby, Melissa (Jeremy), Amanda, Shawn, Kayla (Dusty), Shane (Brittney), Natasha (Rob), Bradley (Cami), Lloyd (Misty), Danielle (Micah), Caterina (Keisha), Tristan (Sam), Contessa (Patrick), Hailey, and Mikey (Emma), as well as numerous great grandkids, nieces, nephews and friends, and his furry companion, Peanut.

Al, born in the small town of Clarenville Newfoundland, spent his whole life as a working man, taking on jobs in all sorts of industries like forestry, farming, fire watching, and eventually becoming a licensed body man, in which some referred to him as “The best body man in Calgary”. With his Wife and their six children, they moved from the rock to Calgary, AB in 1970, and then by 1986, they moved to Salmon Arm BC where they lived in a small mountain home until 2003 when they packed up for the final time and moved to Athabasca, AB. Spending the rest of their lives in Athabasca, Al eventually retired and spent his time fishing with his family, and friends. He loved being outdoors having tea over the fire while telling stories from his younger years.

Fly high Pop, like the free spirit you always were.
