Barbara Ann (Hargrave) Wilkinson

WILKINSON, Barbara Ann July 18, 1935 - April 25, 2024, Barb Wilkinson of Athabasca passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre.  She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Dave (Kim) Wilkinson of Edmonton, Pat Wilkinson of Athabasca and Janet (Gilbert) Perras of Athabasca; eight grandchildren: Trevor (Melissa) Wilkinson of Edmonton, Tyler Wilkinson of Edmonton, Ashley Wilkinson of Edmonton, Brittney (Travus) Wilkinson of Edmonton, Cayley (Jordon) Menzel of Elk Point, Amy Wilkinson of Athabasca, Ben Wilkinson of Athabasca, Greg (Ali) Perras of Athabasca; two great-grandchildren: Julian and Eleanor Wilkinson of Edmonton. She is also survived by one sister Norma (Ozzie) Morris of Edmonton and one sister-in-law Florence Brown. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bob (2010), grandson Tristin Snell (2019) and granddaughter Marissa Perras (1995). She was born in Medicine Hat and spent her childhood in Manyberries and Southern Alberta. She was a proud graduate of the University of Alberta Bachelor of Science in Nursing (class of 1956) program. She met Bob in Westlock, and they were married in 1958 before moving to Athabasca. Barb has been cremated and a memorial service will be held in the Athabasca United Church July 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., conducted by Rev. Monica Rosborough.
