Bernadine (Bun) Farrell

Bernadine Farrell, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 30, 1960, Bernadine will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she had for her family.

Bernadine is survived by her loving husband, Garth Farrell, and her sons: Robert Farrell and his wife Penny, along with their children Henry and Jane; Steven Farrell and Rachelle, along with their children Cohen, Rhett, and Nashton; and Sam Farrell and his wife Petra, along with their son Felix.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Anna, Diane, and Gene, and was predeceased by her parents Louis and Betty Sale and sister Elise.

Bernadine’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren and leaves behind countless memories that will continue to be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church in Athabasca, AB.
