Brendon Whalen Obituary
Brendon Francis Whalen, aged 69, passed away peacefully in Athabasca, Alberta.
Born in Bear River PEI on September 29,1955, he was known as a hard worker who took great pride in his work operating heavy equipment & trucking. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, would gladly give you the shirt off his back and always looked out for the little guy.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne, and his daughters Erin Andrews, Melissa MacDonald (Josh) and Bethany Whalen (Geoff), and grandchildren Dylan, Lydia, Caleb, Raylnn, Kyla, and Maverick. He leaves behind his siblings Gerard (Dianne), Jim, David (Anne Marie), Wanda (Gord), Karen (Carl), Cathy, and Michael (Ana), along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Joe & Amelda, in laws Joe & Rita Manning, son in law Steven Andrews, and niece Amelia Canning.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their wonderful care during Brendon’s time in hospital.
It was Brendon’s wishes not to have a visitation. Interment will take place at a later date.
