To me, my mother was a beautiful woman, with long hair, the greatest smile, and the blackest eyes. She also has a gentle grace; I have only seen in her. In times I have known my mother, were milestones, from the day I was sent away, to when I found her again, I could always feel her in my heart. I had no real understanding growing up, what happened and why. The pursuit of wanting her in my life would never let her go. At 18, I met the happiest woman. We had an adventure of a summer fun in getting to know each other. This means the hard things.
These moments of great sadness because we had a goal of growth. Upon her first husband passing my mom called. She needed me to help her. This was another milestone in her life I witnessed. And the grace of my mother endured. Always telling me I needed a snowy bear because I never slept enough. I saw her sadness, love and joy, anger, and regrets. She was so wonderful with the children, from the gentle all in one. How we enjoyed leaning cree and who we are. The missing pure piece of my heart was finally in place. I will cherish every second I had with her, because the time was cruel to only gave us a few.
