Darlene Zelman Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Darlene Zelman (Scott). Darlene was born on September 1, 1935 and passed away peacefully at Athabasca Auxiliary Hospital on April 25, 2024.

Darlene leaves to mourn her husband of 69 years, Mike; sons Jim and Darcy (Shirley); daughter Shelley; sister Marlene Chrunyk (Chic); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her two sons Michael and Cory; granddaughter Melanie Zelman; son in law Arnold Gorski; parents Curly and Edna Scott; in laws Anton and Kay Zelman; sisters Betty (Cliff) Stannard and Ollie (Dave) Webb.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations in Darlene’s memory may be made to the Athabasca Healthcare Auxiliary Association at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre.
