It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Alberts on January 8/24 at the age of 56 years.
David was a son, brother, uncle, friend, and all-around awesome guy. He is survived by his siblings Janet (Bill), Judy, Ken (Sue), Linda (Tony) and Bev., sister-in-law Cecile and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by and is going to join his parents Eddie and Mildred Alberts, brother Ron Alberts and brothers-in-law Albert Zachoda and Tom Parker.
David attended school in Athabasca and Barrhead and worked at various jobs. David’s favorite job was as a stock person at Buy Low Athabasca. He especially loved receiving a pay cheque which he saved to pay for his favorite activity…holidays in the mountains.
David was a first-class bowler, floor hockey player and baseball player with Special Olympics. He was part of the provincial baseball championship team that attended the Nationals in Brandon Manitoba.
A private family service will be held for David at a later date.
We love you, miss you and will meet you again one day.
