David Hansen Obituary
With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of our brother David Blair Hansen at the age of 66.
Dave was born in Edmonton on January 20th, 1959, to Coral and Ted Clausen.
Dave is survived by his daughter Jennifer and son Ian, brothers Ted, Greg, Steve (Christine), Dan, sisters Heather (John), Tammy, Velvet (Stacy) Wendy (Gord) , numerous nieces, nephews and his companion of his last years, Hazel.
Dave is predeceased by his brothers, Roger, John, Ron and Jan, both parents, Coral and Ted, and his partner of 18 years, Connie.
Dave’s family moved from Edmonton when he was very young, and he spent his school years in Rochester and Athabasca. Dave left school at an early age to pursue a career in operating heavy equipment. Dave spent most of his life, working and living in BC, enjoying nature, animals, and making many lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Athabasca Legion 1:00 PM, January 20th, 2026.
