Desiree Larocque Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Desiree Larocque of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement on June 8, 2025 at the age of 24.
Desiree will be forever remembered by her: Mother Mavis Arcand-Berland (Larry Berland), Biological Father Darwin Larocque, Brother Robert Cardinal (Janine). Sister Colleen Arcand (Trevor) Mom Pauline Arcand, Numerous brothers sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and Father Figure Don Cardinal.
Desiree will be welcomed by her predeceased family: Grandparents Maurice and Rebecca Arcand, Grandparents George and Eva Larocque, Sister Crystal Arcand Cousins Owen Cadieux, Faron Ladouceur and Lucas Arcand.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement Recreation Centre.
A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Officiated by Pastor Joe Karaitis.
Interment will take place at the Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement Cemetery
