Donald Lloyd Hutzal

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Hutzal on May 17th at the age of 78 in Boyle, AB.

Don was born on July 23rd 1947 in Athabasca, AB. Don will be lovingly remembered by his life partner Sharon Dingwall, Daughter Christie Hutzal, Step Children; Sally Taylor and Chris Dingwall (Trish).  Don has three grandchildren, Shyla Platt, Austin Taylor (Martina), Jorden Taylor and one great grandchild Rowan Taylor-Beaver.  Sister Lorraine Fluet (Ken), Brother Ken Hutzal, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ann and Fred Hutzal.

A funeral service will be held on Monday May 25th at 10:00am at the Athabasca Chapel followed by the interment at the Boyle Ukrainian Catholic cemetery.  The celebration of life with refreshments will be held at 1:00pm at the Boyle Legion.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides in Don’s name

The family wishes to thank his friends and care staff for their support and compassion during this difficult time. Don will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
