Donna Lynn Amato, age 70, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most. Born on June 18, 1955, Donna lived a life rooted in family, devotion, strength, and grace. She was the heart of her family — a steady presence, a source of warmth and comfort, and a woman whose love was felt deeply by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Donna was predeceased by her beloved parents, Anne and Leonard Miske, and by her late husband, Anthony, with whom she is now reunited in peace.
She leaves behind a family who will carry her love with them always: her son Brad and his wife Erin; her stepdaughter Linda and her husband Kelly; her devoted partner, Douglas C. Wilson; and her treasured grandchildren, Paisley, Morgan, Regan, Talon, and her great grandchild Ruxin. She is also lovingly remembered by her many brothers and sisters, with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter, loyalty, and deep family bonds.
Donna’s life was defined not by grand attention, but by the quiet and enduring ways she cared for others. She gave love freely, stood strong through life’s hardships, and created a sense of home wherever she was. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain part of the lives she touched forever. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the lessons she passed down, and the love that binds her family together.
In accordance with Donna’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Her family will hold a private gathering at a later date to celebrate her life, share memories, and honor the love she gave so generously. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Donna’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in honor of her journey and in support of ongoing efforts to find a cure.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near; Still loved, still missed and very dear.”
