Doreen Wight Obituary
With deep sadness the family of Doreen Wight would like to announce Doreen’s passing on October 31, 2025 at the age of 88 years, in Red Deer, Alberta.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Roland and Elizabeth Wight; siblings Denny, Edith, George, Huey, Kenny; and son David.
She is survived by her sons Bob (Carol) Soanes and Gary (Ingrid) Soanes. 5 grandchildren; Kolt, Curtis, Chelsea, Kayne, and Jeran; 8 precious great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Colinton Hall. A viewing will take place between 10:00am-12:00pm at the Colinton Hall.
Pastor Al Plat will be officiating, with interment to follow at The Colinton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to STARS.
