Fred Nahorney Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of our father, Fred Nahorney on Dec 9, 2025 at the age of 95. He was born October 3,1930 in Sarrail, Alberta and lived there on his farm until he retired and moved to the Wild Rose Villa in Boyle in 2016. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years; Rosaline (Tkachuk); parents Tom and Frozina (Hewko); sisters; Anne, Millie and Betty. He is survived by his daughters; Beverly Wombold (LeRoy), Diana Guignion (Roy; deceased), Lori Campbell, Vanetta Richard (Noel) and Phyllis Chartrand (Alain). He is survived by grandchildren; Christopher Wombold (Ashley), Michael Wombold, Vance Prokopchuk, Vanessa Prokopchuk, Courtney McDonald (Colton), Kristen Diesel (Michael), Jordon Howse, Kendra Cardinal, River Tourangeau, Sierra Grice (Seth) and 6 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Fred was a lifelong member of the Boyle Seventh-day Adventist Church. He will be missed for his singing, fierce determination for overcome the odds and the ability to find contentment in everything without complaining.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Wild Rose Villa and the Athabasca Hospital for their excellent care of their father.
