Gladys Linda Breckenridge passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 75. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Russ Manns; her children, Rhonda (Kendall) Robocon and Brent Rollings; her brothers, Sid (Shelley) Breckenridge and Grant (Pam) Breckenridge; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Orval Breckenridge, her mother and stepfather; Linda and Ken Minns, and her brother, Donnie Breckenridge.
Gladys was a unique and beautiful soul, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. There was truly no one like her. Despite facing lifelong health challenges, she remained optimistic and positive, always lighting up the room with her presence and a story to share.
A gifted artist and creator, Gladys immersed herself in countless projects over the years. She was a talented baker, painter, jewelry maker, and seamstress—and tried her hand at many other unique hobbies. Never one to sit still, she kept herself busy, living life with energy and purpose.
She never turned down an adventure or a new opportunity, leading a life rich in travel, creativity, love, and exploration. Yet no matter where her path led, she always returned home to share her experiences and the treasures she collected along the way.
Gladys loved with her whole heart. She reminded us often that no matter where she was, we were always in her heart. She fought a long and courageous battle, never giving up—but sometimes, this world has other plans. She had so much more to give, and we all would’ve been lucky to receive it.
In true Glad fashion, she was a nomad on the plains of Earth—and now, she’ll be a nomad among the stars. With love in our hearts, we will always remember Gladys and the brilliant spirit she was and will always remain.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
