It is with great sadness the family of Irene Blyan announces her passing on May 29th, 2022 at the age of 74.
Irene is survived by her 6 children: Connie Joe-Brooker, Larry Joe, Cynthia Joe, Candis Hawke and
Charlene LaRose; 32 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; as well as siblings: Emile (Edna) Blyan of Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Joe (Evelyn) Blyan of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alec (Elizabeth) Blyan of Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Louise Howse of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Clarence John of Edmonton and Jean Blyan of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement.
She is predeceased by her parents Sophie Blyan and Louis Blyan; daughter: Cheryl Logan; brothers: Freddie, Henry, Ernest, Louie, Lawrence, George, Norman and Gilbert; as well as sister: Katherine.
