Jack Kostashuk Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of John (Jack) Kostashuk announces his passing on November 23, 2021 at the age of 93 years.
Jack was born December 24, 1927 to Helen (Yelena) and Dymyto (Dan) Kostashuk in Athabasca (Paxon), Alberta.
Jack will especially be remembered by his family for his love of the horses he owned and for the special love he held dear to his heart for all his grandchildren and great grandchildren; they could always put the biggest smile on his face.
Jack is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 58 years, Marianne; daughter Cathy (Rod) Haub of Athabasca; son Jack Kostashuk of Athabasca; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other family members.
Pallbearers: grandchildren: Melanie, Tyler, Dustin, Pamella, Katlyn and Cole.
Due to current restrictions the family has chosen to have a graveside memorial at the Athabasca cemetery on November 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to do so can make a memorial donation in Jack's name to the school nutrition program. Cheques can be written to Aspen View Public Schools care of WHPS lunch program.
