James "Jim" Richard Gawley

With his wife by his side, James "Jimmy" Richard Gawley of Bondiss, Alberta passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68.  Born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan to parents Evelyn and Robert Gawley.  Jim was raised in Regina, Saskatchewan with two brothers Dave and Scott.  While working in Alberta, Jim met the love of his life Brenda, the two married in 1976.  Jim and Brenda spent most of their younger years in the Ardrossan, Alberta area raising two children Carly and Travis.  They have spent their semi retired years living at Skeleton Lake, in the family cabin.

Jim will be fondly remembered by all for his love of golf, curling, hunting, fishing and spending time with all those that he cherished most.  He always had a smile on his face, and the joy of his life was spending time with his grandchildren.

His passing leaves an empty space in the lives and hearts of those he has left behind.  His beloved wife Brenda, children Carly (husband Mike, children Ty, and Quinn), Travis (wife Veronica, children Casey, and Hayes).  His parents Evelyn and Robert Gawley, brother Dave (Barb) and their families.  His mother-in-law Anna Zayezierski, brother-in-law Larry, sister-in-law Lorraine and their families.  He is pre-deceased by his brother Scott, and father-in-law Joe Zayezierski. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to the responding EMS and Boyle Hospital staff, for doing their best to try to keep him with us.  Due to current COVID restrictions, a private gathering will be held at a later date.
