Kaitlyn Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sunset of Kaitlyn Paige Smith.
Kaitlyn’s sunrise was in Hinton, Alberta, on April 29, 1997, to Bonnie Smith and Art Goertzen, who fondly loved her. She was a proud mom and an Educational Assistant that enjoyed working with special needs children in Fort McMurray. Kaitlyn has two beautiful children: Jace and Jensen.
She will be missed by her children, her mother, Bonnie (Arnold); father, Art; brother, Jeffrey; sisters Ashley & Erin; grandparents; aunts & uncles; and numerous extended family and friends.
A Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, at 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., at the Athabasca Community Chapel, 3403 – 48th Avenue, Athabasca, Alberta. Viewing will be from 1 to 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Kaity’s children’s trust fund brenna_glenna@hotmail.com.
