Lavern Graling Obituary
Lavern James Graling was born on December 9, 1947 in Brooks, Alberta; known to most as ‘Vern’. On June 5, 1971 he was married to Yvonne Marlene Young at the St. James Roman Catholic Church. They resided in Smith, Alberta until the time of his passing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Vern is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Yvonne; daughters Tammy (Grant) Talaga, Trena (Patrick) McClanaghan and Carrie-Ann Graling; grandsons Jake, Luke and Elias; granddaughters Olivia, Felicity, Tia, Naveigha, Eliza, Lilly and Adashia and a great-granddaughter Brynlee. His brothers and sisters Butch Graling, Vivian (Rob) Dahms, Bill (Holly) Graling, Jackie Beauchamp, Terry (Berna) Graling and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Gertrude and John Claude Graling; sisters Darlene Brownlee and Glenda Morton; brothers-in-law Terry Beauchamp and Bill Brownlee; sister-in-law Noni Graling.
