Laughy, Linwood Mark born March 21st 1952 in Westlock Alberta passed away on December 29th 2024 in Edmonton Alberta.
With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of Linwood Mark Laughy after loosing his battle with cancer on December 29th 2024 at the age of 72, he took his last breath while surrounded by his loved ones.
Linwood's memory will be cherished by his wife of 40 years Maxine Rose Laughy, their dog Mittens, his sons Jason- children Brandan and Johanna, Fred- wife Darice, children Ryland and Austin. Mother in law June Conrad, bothers in law Kevin Conrad and Gary Bartman, sister in law Shannon McDonald, and many nieces and nephews. As well as many friends who have become family over the years.
Linwood is predeceased by his parents Frederick and Erika, his sister Lorna and many other loved ones. Cremation was taken place on January 6th 2025 in Athabasca Alberta.
A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date. He will be laid to rest in the Hondo cemetery.
Our family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation in Linwood's memory be made directly to the Spiral of Life Cancer support group.
