It is with deep sadness that the family of Morley Arnold Breckenridge announces his passing on February 14, 2026, at the age of 91 years.
Morley was born in Athabasca August 21, 1934, and grew up in the Colinton area where he farmed and raised a successful family. He took great pride in his family of 1 girl and 6 boys. He was an avid curler, winning many bonspiels throughout the years and enjoyed all the stories and jokes after the games. It was always a big part of his winter activities. He taught all 7 of his kids how to be good curlers, and how to work hard and enjoy family.
His years on the Colinton Community club board will always be remembered and appreciated.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Patsy; children Roxanne (Ralph) Gill, Brad (Sylvia), Chris (Judith), Marty (Leah), Kurtis (fiancé Rebecca), and Patrick. Morley also leaves to mourn 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, his sisters-in-law Josephine Breckenridge, Mary Wildman, Debbie Tarrant, Kathy Markowski and Brothers-in-law Dennis Tarrant (Doreen), Jim Tarrant (Vivian), & Robert Tarrant (Carol), numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Morley was predeceased by his son Kevin, his parents Val & Gladys Breckenridge, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Mary and Stan Tarrant, 2 brothers, Orval and Malcolm Breckenridge, Brothers-in-law Larry Tarrant, John Mochid, Harry Wildman and sisters-in-law Linda Minns, Louise Tarrant, and 1 great grandson.
