Nancy Wildfong Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Nancy Anne Wildfong on June 16, 2024.
Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband of 34 years: Ken Wildfong; children: Raymond (Crystal) Wildfong, Tyler Wildfong; grandchildren: Ezmay, Maddox; siblings: Danny Lisowec, Mary Angus, Walter (Valerie) Lisowec, Nick (Bev) Lisowec, Paul (Wendy) Lisowec; sister-in-law: Ruth Lisowec; as well as numeroud nieces, nephews and friends.
Nancy was predeceased by her mother: Annie Wolfer; father: Harry Lisowec; step father: Everett Wolfer; brother: Henry Lisowec; brother-in-law: Don Angus.
A Celebration of life will be held on July 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Colinton Hall, Colinton, Alberta.
Final resting place: Meanook Cemetery.
Nancy was born in Canora, Saskatchewan and moved to Athabasca at a young age. She followed her passion for caring to become a nurse, met Ken and married the love of her life. Along came two boys and being a mom was very special. Ken and Nancy started Wildfong’s glass; a business partner as well as a partner in life for 34 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, many sports and just simply spending time with family and friends.
Special thanks to all the staff at the Athabasca Hospital for the many years of care Nancy received.
