Such a beautiful person and a great neighbour for so many years.

Nina was such a lovely lady. Always smiling and friendly to everyone and was accomplished at whatever she put her mind to do! She raised the best chickens and knitted the most wonderful mittens! I will never forget her many kindnesses. Rest in peace Nina...

I just finished my first year of my nursing program and completed my first practicum this spring at the Athabasca Long term care where I had the privilege of meeting Nina. She was always smiling and had a story to tell and a good sense of humour to go with it. I really enjoyed my time with her while I was there. She was a beautiful woman and I am so glad to have had the chance to meet her and the privilege of caring for her. My condolences to all of Nina's family, she will be missed by many.

Nina was a beautiful lady and an inspiration to all of us who live in her neighborhood. I feel privileged to have known her. Rest in peace, Nina.

I always enjoyed her dry wit and humour. She was a wealth of knowledge on all things Ukrainian. Rest In Peace Nina.
