Miss. Marchuk,taught me l.a in grade 4. I always remembered her hair up in a bun,so neatly done. I would go home a try to out my hair up like that.. never did get it so nice.

With fond memory!
I remember her so well as my grade 5 teacher in Boyle. I was given the extra task of translating some lessons for a new student who had come to Canada and could only speak Ukrainian and Spanish. A huge learning and memory for me, that has stayed with me.
Thank you and my condolences to all her family and all who had the privilege of of being in Ms. Marchuk's classroom.

My memories are so clear and easy to recall - Olia teaching me French, with her hair in a perfect French twist. I didn't realize at the time what a huge impact her tutelage (and the cat poster on her classroom wall with the words "Hang in there") would come to have in my life.
