Patricia Ann Katherine “Patt” Goupil (Titus)

February 27, 1953  -  July 26, 2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Katherine Goupil (Titus) on July 26, 2024 at the age of 71.

Patt was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She leaves behind her Mother, Katie Lukashyk;  Brother, Don (Tammy) Titus;  Sister, Josephine Davidson,  Brother-in-law, Bill (Janie Goupil);  Sister-in-law, Linda Goupil;  Children, Trevor, Kari and Rene Goupil;  Grandchildren, Jackson, Brittany, Madison, Brylee,  and Brooklyn;  Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Patt was predeceased by her loving husband, Gene Goupil;  Father, Mike Titus;  Brother, Victor Titus; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Betty and Joe Goupil; and Brother-in-law Bud Goupil.

Patt was born in Athabasca on February 27, 1953.  She moved to Perryvale, and then moved back to Athabasca, where she met and married her husband Gene Goupil on November 22, 1969.  They were married for 41 years, until Gene’s passing in 2011.

Patt always had a smile on her face, and kind words for everyone.  She enjoyed conversations with friends and customers, and did her best to brightens everyone’s days.  She had many hobbies, which included leather work, beading and knitting.  Her biggest joys in life were her family, and especially her grandchildren. 

Each person she knew will have their own special story or favourite memory of Patt that they will treasure. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Rohan Rossouw and The Athabasca Hospital staff.  Special thanks to the nurses that provided outstanding care for Patt.  Donations in memory of Patt may be made to The Athabasca Auxiliary Association – 3100-18th Ave, Athabasca AB, T9S 1M9 (or to a special charity of one’s choice).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Patt Goupil’s farm - 221019A Twp Rd 670.
