Pearl Siminick of Camrose, Alberta (formerly of Athabasca, Alberta), passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose.
She is survived by one son Stan (Bonnie) of Camrose, AB; daughter Millie Pacella (Paul) of Arnprior, ON; sister Millie Harvey of Sault Ste. Marie, ON; six grandchildren: Stacey Lecomte (Vernon) of Camrose, AB, Brent Siminick (Stacy) of Sherwood Park, AB, Jerry Siminick (Alma) of Manning, AB, Rob Siminick (Ruby) of Spruce Grove, AB, Nicole Cass (Geoff) of Ottawa, ON, and Cathy Arthorne (John) of Ottawa, ON; 9 great grandchildren: Carter and Thomas Lecomte of Camrose, Lauren and Maddy Siminick of Sherwood Park, Lisa Siminick of Spruce Grove, Jillian and Simon Cass of Ottawa, and Miles and Amelia Arthorne of Ottawa.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael Sr. in 1981; two sons: Larry in 1963 and Michael Jr. in 2001, and grandson Curtis in 2014.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Athabasca, Alberta with Father Mark Sych officiating. Interment will follow at the Boyle Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pearl’s name may be made to the Athabasca Ukrainian Church.
