Robert Daniel Ladouceur

1962-2020

Mr. Robert Ladouceur of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 20, 2020, at the age of 57 years.

He leaves to mourn his loss his partner, Freda Cardinal; son, Daniel Krueger; stepsons, Jesse (Patricia) Cardinal and David Cardinal; stepdaughters, Shelly Cardinal, Stephanie Krueger, Candy Gauthier, Kimberly Laderoute, and Rachaelle Ward; grandchildren, David, Tana, Christain, George, and Ayva; and his special nephew, Tommy Desjarlais.

As well as his mother, Dorothy Ladouceur; siblings, Debbie (Doyle Cardinal) Ladouceur, Darrell a.k.a. Yogi Ladouceur, Susan Ladouceur, Hank Ladouceur, Shelly Durocher, David a.k.a. Jiggy Ladouceur, Corrianne (Richard) Henson, and Angela (Francis Gladue) Ladouceur; 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his musician family. 

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Ladouceur; brothers, Dennis Ladouceur and Darcy Ladouceur; Mushum and Kokum Narcisse and Pauline Ladouceur; grandparents, Louie and Bella Patenaude; nephew Dennis Ladouceur; father in law George Cardinal; brothers in law, Zeke Cardinal, Lorne Durocher, and Bruce Cardinal; and granddaughters, J’Lynn and Jayda.

A wake service will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the Ladouceur family home, 16513 TWP Rd 634, Buffalo Lake. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the family home. 

Due to the recent government restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather, only 15 individuals are allowed on the property at one time. The family asks that you, please remain in your vehicles until there is room to come inside. If you have been outside of the country within the last 14 days, or are experiencing any illness or side effects of COVID-19, please remain at home.
