Ron Giesbrecht Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Billy Giesbrecht announces his sudden passing on November 22, 2023, at the age of 69 years.
Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie, children; Chad (Kayla), Marci, Kim (Jeff), granddaughter; Ellie, grandsons; Dominique, Blake, Lukas, Austin, Colton and one great grandson Eli. He was also survived by his brother; Albert (Anna-Marie), sisters; Deanna (John Braun), Elvira Peters, Linda Carfrae, numerous nieces & nephews, and members of the Nelson family.
Ron was predeceased by his parents; Henry and Helen, brother; John and sister; Sharon Giesbrecht.
Our beloved husband, father and grandfather will be dearly missed.
A viewing will be held at the Athabasca Community Chapel on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Athabasca Missionary Church. Interment to follow at the Athabasca Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron’s name may be made to STARS or a charity of ones choice.
