Ruth Desjarlais Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that Della, Gail, and Travis announce the passing of their mother, Ruth Desjarlais (nee Shaffer) at the age of 80 years old. She passed on October 5th, 2022 at 10:50pm surrounded by her children at the Westlock Hospital.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward Desjarlais; her parents: Sykes and Patricia Shaffer; siblings: Ralph, Ida and Cecil; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
While she journeys across the river with those that went before, we wish her travels to be filled with laughter and love.
We love you Mommy. Hug everyone for us and give kisses to Dick, Kavik, Baby, Little Man, Boo Kitty, and all the others.
A service will be taking place on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at 11:00am at the Athabasca Community Chapel in Athabasca, Alberta.
