Sally Pysyk Obituary
Sally Pysyk passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dianna (Terry) Coverly, Dwayne (Amy) Pysyk, Donnie Pysyk (Gladys Katan) and Lori (Roy) Klingbeil; grandchildren: Shaunna Coverly (Peter Borland), Lee-Ann Coverly, Angela Pysyk, Pamela (Craig) Durdle, Jennifer (Jason) Marcoux, Lesley Pysyk, Salena (Austin) Havens, Johnathon (Savannah) Pysyk, and Brydon Klingbeil; great-grandchildren: Amy Verschoor (Adam Cinq-mars), Alyssa Verschoor (Ryelee Buchanan), Spencer Durdle, Heidi and Cash Marcoux; great-great grandchildren: Madison Buchanan and 2 babies on the way; sister, Melvina (Ken) Ozipko and sisters-in-law, Olga Smith and Kay Tostyniuk, as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband John of 67 years, brother Walter Tostyniuk; sister Eugenea Shermata, and brother – in – laws Bill Shermata and Larry Smith.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday July 17, 2025 at Prosvita Hall, Prosperity, AB. A Visitation to take place one hour prior. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cemetery, Prosperity, AB. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Sally's name to the Athabasca & District Senior Citizens Society, 4810-48th Street Athabasca, Alberta T9S 1V8.
