Stephanie (Steffie) Ashbey
September 4, 1931 – March 16, 2021
It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Stephanie (Steffie) Ashbey, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the age of 89 years.
Stephanie is survived by her brother Edward (Lorraine) Wiselka, sisters Margaret Wiselka, Irene (Mel) Smith, Helen McAllindon, and Edythe Wood. She is also survived by her children Emily Scott, Bea (Fred) Isfeld, Liz (Dan) Heinrichs, Charles (Dorothy) Ashbey, Allan Ashbey, Valerie Ashbey-Pauquette, Monica (Glen) Wolanuk, Frances (Todd) Kunz, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Stephanie was predeceased by her husband Ben, mother and father Helen and Paul Wiselka, and one brother Alfred.
Due to pandemic restrictions, private family service is being held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Colinton, Alberta on Monday, March 22, 2021, with Reverend Rose Howell officiating.
Interment to take place at Colinton cemetery. Athabasca Community Chapel in charge of arrangements.
