Trueman Lund Obituary
Trueman Forest Lund was born the fourth of seven children to John and Anina Lund on the family farm near Ellscott, Alberta. He attended East Park School and farmed the land across from his parents for his entire life.
On December 19, 1959 he married Hazel Raaflaub. Together they farmed and raised a beautiful family. Trueman was a farmer, mechanic, Cat Operator, bus driver, patented inventor, and he also did custom farm work.
Trueman was predeceased by his wife Hazel (2020) of over 60 years; his parents; and his siblings.
He is survived by his children: Penny of Boyle, Virginia (Richard Grady) of Edmonton, and Travis (Tiffany Bloodoff) of Devon; grandchildren:
Jessi (Denise Rempel) of Beaver County and Amelia of Devon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Trueman enjoyed travelling and visiting family in the US, Canada, and Norway. As well as taking cruises in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii. He enjoyed farming, fixing and rebuilding old and new equipment and tractors.
His greatest love was Hazel, his children and family. He was very proud of the life he and Hazel created.
A Memorial Service will be taking a place at the family farm on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at 1:00pm with lunch to follow.
