Wendy McLean Obituary
Wendy McLean passed away on January 11th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth.
Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Hilary McLean and Amelia Walker, her son-in-law Taylor Walker, her predeceased husband Dwayne McLean, her partner Chris Chamberlain, her loving parents Donald Stephen and Maxine Stephen, and her dear sister Marnie (Gilbert) L'Heureux, L'Heureux.
To know Wendy McLean was to know love, laughter, and resilience. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought encouragement, and her love brought people together. Though her time with us was far too short, this impact she made will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Wendy’s life will be held on January 17th, 2026 at 11:00am at the Missionary Church in Athabasca.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to the Athabasca County Family & Support Services to assist providing Meals on Wheels within the community.
We will carry her memory forward with love, gratitude, and the countless moments that will forever remind us of her beautiful spirit.
