Dear Uncle Wes
Thank you for being a part of my life ..as my uncle and friend. We last seen and spoke at Taras's funeral where we laughed and spent time together. I will always remember that, and you...will always be a part of my life. I am so sorry we weren't in contact much, but I will always remember the times at Boyle and the service station....times that will be with me forever. I am so so sorry for the pain you lived through, and hope the people that were close to you...can heal through this difficult time. I thank them for that. May you rest peacefully, and remember all the people that thank you for being a part of their lives..,,,including me. God Bless You Uncle Wesley, you will be remembered in many hearts....especially mine. I know God will welcome you with open arms, like you have done to so many others in your life. I love you, and will miss you always.
Your nephew,
Steven Rusnak

Dear Uncle Wes I will always remember the conversation we had at Taras's funeral. You were so positive when I was down, and you told me the road is hard, but worth it. I can't imagine what you were going through, but I am glad you had close friends and colleagues there with you. I thank them for that. I remember the days at Boyle and the service station....memories I will never forget, thanks to you. I'm so sorry for not being closer, but, I will always remember you. and for the joy and laughter you brought into my life. For that, I will always remember you, and love you. May God welcome you into his arms, like you have done to so many others. I will miss you more than you know.... God Bless Your nephew, Steven Rusnak

Wesley was my younger brother, and I have wonderful memories of Wesley during our childhood. I was six years older than Wesley, so I left home after graduating from Edwin Parr High School in Athabasca when Wesley was just entering Junior High School. I recall the times when we worked together at our family Shell Service stations, and his serious and sensitive nature in everything that he did. After our parents sold the Shell Service Station near Perryvale, Wesley set up his first residence at an acreage near Boyle, next to our parents retirement home. When our parents passed away in 1990, there was family discord over the estate, and Wesley withdrew from further contact with me and my family. I am happy to hear that Wesley had wonderful friends and touched so many people with his kind nature. I am sure that Wesley is now smiling down from Heaven on all of us.
