William "Bill" Budz Obituary
With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our father grandfather, great-grandfather and husband, on March 26th, 2022, at the age of 84 years.
Bill was born to Peter and Dora Budz on the family farm in Spruce Valley. Bill took over the farming duties at the age of 14. He married Julia Woloncewich in 1961 and helped raise three children. In addition to farming. Bill had a variety of jobs including Bar manager, Hotel Manager, Fire Tower Watchman and Funeral Services employee. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening and his trips to A&W for coffee.
Bill will be missed by his second wife: Wanda; his three children: Cindy (Darryl), Wayne (Tishna) and Lorry (Mila); eight grandchildren: Crystal (Kelly), Nicole (Rob), Yaroslava, Justin (Allison), Noah, Haley, Aiden and Preston; four great-grandchildren: Preston, Ryan, Julian and Isabel; and his brother: Victor (Ann).
Bill was predeceased by his parents; sister: Alma; and wife: Julia.
A funeral service will be taking place on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Athabasca Missionary Church.
