Ann Mary Semashkewich
March 19, 1934- December 19, 2017
With heavy hearts and much sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mom, Baba, Super-Baba, Sister, and Aunt on December 19, 2017 in Kelowna, B.C.
Ann will lovingly be remembered by her husband Joseph; children Gloria Lechky (Bill), Ailien Holdis (Jerry Derko), Barry Semashkewich (Carol), Bob Semashkewich (Cheryl), Deborah Fehr (Dave), Lewis Semashkewich (Penny); grandchildren Travis (Wanda), Trevor (Erin), Scott (Carrie), Shawn (Carla), Tyler (Leslie), Kurt (Candace), Kristy, Derek (Alanna), and John; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Brooklyn, Jayde, Noah, Keaton, Isla, Nathan, Lucca, Kayla, Abbie, Fausten, and Kade; Sisters Mary Bluda and Hilda Shields (Colin); and brothers Tommy Ilnicki (Donna), Allan Ilnicki (Bev) and Ed Ilnicki (Deanna) and many nieces, nephews and so many friends.
Ann was pre-deceased by grandson Aaron Semashkewich, parents Louis & Katie Ilnicki, sister Annette Nikipelo, and brothers Henry and Johnny Ilnicki.
A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Grassland Community Center, Grassland, Alberta with Pastor Al Plat officiating.
We, Ann’s children, would like to thank Marlene and Dave Tkachuk for their love and support, and anyone else who assisted us in bringing Mom home.
