At Athabasca Community Chapel, our on-site crematorium — completed in the fall of 2016 — means your loved one remains in our care at all times, with no transfer to city facilities ever required. Receiving your loved one into our care
Our compassionate Athabasca staff is available 24/7 to respectfully transfer your loved one into the quiet sanctuary of our facilities.
Meeting with your Funeral Director and arranging
Sit down with a funeral director to go through the cremation options, choose an urn, and plan a memorial if you want one. No pressure to decide on the spot.
The Cremation Process
Cremation takes place at our own crematorium, completed in the autumn of 2016. Your loved one stays in our care throughout and is never transferred to another city.
Optional Memorial or Scattering
We can help you plan the service wherever suits your family — our chapel, a graveside, or somewhere outdoors that meant something to them.
After-Care Services
Our support does not end at the ceremony. We provide dedicated estate documentation guidance to help your family navigate practical matters smoothly.
