It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anna Zayezierski of Boyle, Alberta, on August 20, 2026 at the age of 98 years.
Anna will be lovingly remembered by her son, Larry (Lorraine) Zayezierski of Boyle, and her daughter, Brenda Gawley of Boyle. She will be dearly missed by her four grandchildren: Jason (Kim) Zayezierski of Boyle, Kelly (Chad) Knippel of Sherwood Park, Carly (Mike) Nyszczuk of Ardrossan, and Travis (Veronica) Gawley of Ardrossan; her ten great-grandchildren, Jenessa, Tristan, Addisyn, Hayley, Parker, Elliot, Ty, Quinn, Casey and Hayes; and her great-great-granddaughter, Heather.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband, Joe Zayezierski; her son-in-law, Jim Gawley; her parents, Jacob and Mary Poleschuk; her sisters, Nadia and Sophie; her brother, Johnny; and her uncle, Harry.
Anna’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a beautiful family legacy that will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Boyle Drop-In Centre, officiated by Father Marvin Tanquerido. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wild Rose Villa in Anna’s memory. Rest peacefully, Mom and Baba. You will be forever loved, remembered, and missed.
