The family of Annie Kowalchuk is saddened to announce her passing on September 25th, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
She was born on the homestead in Sawdy, AB on January 19th, 1935. Annie lived on the farm, North of the river, all her life.
She leaves to mourn her loss: daughter: Anna (Gordon); son: David (Cathy); grandchildren: Sabrina (Collin), Nicholas (Melissa), Jeffrey (Dawnia), and Michael; great-grandchildren: Alexis and Owen; her sisters: Katherine Nelson and Mary Kowalchuk.
She was predeceased by her husband: Nickolas; her parents: Peter and Mary Chilak.
Prayer Service to take place at the Athabasca Community Chapel on Thursday September 30th, 2021 at 7 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Friday October 1st, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church.
