Arla Kathleen Baldwin
1940-2021
Mrs. Arla Baldwin of Athabasca, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the age of 80 years.
Arla was born at home in Cherron, Alberta on October 26, 1940, to Jessie and Mary Fischer. Arla was married on July 4th, 1958 to Roderick Gorden Baldwin. They went on to raise 6 children together.
Arla is survived by her children; Robin (Emilia) Baldwin, Colleen Buchinski, Claire (Ted) Van Hout, Aaron (Stephanie), Karen (Rob) Jamieson, and Allan Baldwin, grandchildren; Sheena, Kyle, Trevor, Stacey, Dianna, Kevin, Brandon, Devon, Kristof, Victoria, Jessica, and Stefan, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers, and sisters; Nellie (Eli) Cholach, Shirley Tardif, Jeannie (Vic) Plamondon, Jimmie (Georgine) Fischer, Connie (Don) Rodmanovich, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Arla was predeceased by her husband Rod, daughters, Colleen and Karen, mother Mary, father Jessie, and brothers George and Fred.
Due to the recent government restrictions, a private family service will be held.
