August “Gus” Deisting
1925-2018
On April 9, 2018, Gus Deisting of Athabasca passed away at the age of 93 years.
Survived by 4 children, Karen (Rick) Prosser, Wesley Deisting, Donna Hart, and Faron (Laurie Gauthier) Deisting all of Athabasca. 6 grandchildren, Samantha Prosser, Jesse Prosser, Jamie Deisting, Kyle Deisting, Kevin Dunn, Angela (Scott) Foster. 1 great-grandson Arden Foster, sister Hilda Toppman & numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth and nine siblings.
Cremation has taken place. At Gus’ request there will be no formal service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 103 - Athabasca or the Athabasca Healthcare Auxiliary Association.
Mom & Dad can now continue dancing.
