Bernice Eleanor Stertz (nee Shaw)
October 7th, 1939 - August 19th, 2019
Mrs. Bernice Stertz of Slave Lake, Alberta, passed away at the Slave Lake Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the age of 79 years.
She leaves behind to mourn her three children: daughter Mary Anne (Alan), their daughter Pamela (Cory) and Dallas; son Bryan and his children, Brian (Sherri) and their children; Hannah, Bryan, Teagen, Jace: Celena (Jason), and their children Paige and Xander: Amber and Tamika; daughter Betty - Jo (Kevin), and their sons: Freddy (Tonya), their daughter Zoey; Kyle; seven siblings: Larry (Lorraine), Yvonne (Baldy), Murray, Rose (Darcy), Glen (Zorra), Norman, and Leonard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband George; son, Jason; grandson, Wayne; six siblings: David, Charlie, Virginia, John, Cecile, and Helen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Peter Celestine Catholic Church, 200-3 Ave NW, Slave Lake, AB, with interment to follow in the Slave Lake Cemetery.
