Charles was born in Athabasca, Alberta. He enjoyed working with his dad and brother Melvin on the farm. He was gifted mechanically and always enjoyed making equipment and if someone said something was impossible, he would say "Nothing is Impossible". Those words would also be echoed in his faith for his Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Charles believed in the power of prayer and was never hesitant to pray for anybody. His mother and many members of his family enjoyed singing and playing music. Charles was no different and always had a song in his heart.
Charles is survived by his 5 children; Wayne Woodcox (Shelley), Brian Woodcox (Amanda), Linda Woodcox, Marlene Woodcox and Darren Woodcox, 11 grandchildren: Justin (Jovi), Erin, Alyssa, Lindsey, Jacqueline, Natalie (Luke), Jesse, Dawson, Hudson, Chloe, Daisy, 1 great-grandchild Violet, 3 sisters Edith (Danny), Marjory & Rosalie (Thomas), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Besides his loving wife Laura Woodcox (nee Gray), Charles was predeceased by his parents Melvin & Mary (nee Gaebel) Woodcox; 4 brothers: Arthur (Beatrice) Woodcox, Edward (Alma) Woodcox, Melvin (Theresa) Woodcox & Lawrence (Rachel) Woodcox; 3 sisters: Helen (Allan), Dorothy (John) & Doreen (John).
