It is with heavy hearts & great sadness that our family announced the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather & brother, Clarence Martin on September 21, 2017
On August 16, 1924 Clarence was born to Guy and Vida Martin on the farm between Meanook & Perryvale. Clarence never left the Athabasca area. In addition to farming, Clarence worked various jobs. Clarence found much pleasure in the music he played, sang, and wrote. Family meant everything to him. Clarence led a full and meaningful life. He treated everyone as he wanted to be treated and will be greatly missed by many.
Clarence leaves to mourn his loss, his Children: Sylvia (Randy), and Terry (Anita), Grandchildren: Curtis (Rose), Christie (Jason), Lee Jay (Kristen), and Calla (Jordan), Great Grandchildren: Kolton, Tyler, Aurora, Kaycee, Cassandra, and Rylee. As well as Brothers Dave Martin and Fred (Elsie) Martin, sister Pearl Day, sister-in-law Barb Williams, brothers-in-law Bob Benson (Carol) and Dick Benson (Sara) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
