It is with broken hearts that the family of Dean Runcer announce his passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Dean's dedication and love for his family came first, above all else. Dean was a friend to all. His casual laid back ways attracted friends and family who shared his adventurous spirit and immense love of the outdoors.
Dean leaves behind his loving wife Deidre, children Ryan, Sydney and Carsen, parents Ron and Karen, in-laws Lorne and Susan, sisters Terri (Mike) and Shelley (Sheldon) and numerous other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pilgrim's Hospice Society where Dean spent his final weeks. Both Dean and his family could not have been more grateful for the outstanding care and compassion they were given by all the staff and volunteers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Athabasca Regional Multiplex on Friday June 16, 2023 at 1:00pm. Everyone is welcome.
