It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Doris Ann Guay (nee Kobzey) of Athabasca, AB on October 23rd, 2022 at the age of 72. She was a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many.
Doris was born on December 9th, 1949 in Athabasca, AB. She was the youngest of 2 siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lennie of 53 years; son Trevor (Amber); 3 grandchildren: Dakota, Logan, and Jaelyn; and her brother Danny Kobzey.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Pearl Kobzey.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at 1:00pm at Saint Gabriel’s Church in Athabasca, AB.
