Mrs. Doris Sutton of Barrhead, formerly of Athabasca and Calling Lake, Alberta passed away at the Barrhead Continuing Care Center on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 91 years.
She is survived by her loving family of three daughters and one son, Joan Porter, Judy Lewis, Barb (Peter) Rooke, Ken (Ellie) Sutton, ten grandchildren, James (Shelley), Kim (Bruce), Miriam (Greg), Joan (Mike), Kay (Ryan), Bev (Paul), Doug (Nicole), Cheryl (Jamie), Kathy (Ryan), and Kevin. Twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Marita Ritchie, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Doris was predeceased by her husband Ken, two son-in-law’s, Tony Lewis, Ken Porter, two sisters and their spouses, Mary (Si & Lefty), Peggy (Jimmy), her brother John, and her parents John and Gladys Ritchie.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the ATHABASCA COMMUNITY CEMETERY. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 P.M on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 4904 51 St, Athabasca, AB.
