Edith May Rehm
1920-2018
On November 7, 2018, Edith Rehm of Athabasca passed away peacefully at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her 4 children: Rod, Duncan (Louise), Lenn, Bob (Brenda); Grandchildren: Kelly (Phil) Schreiner, Lee-Anne (Mike) Arychuk, Derren (Sonja) Rehm, Cyrena Rehm, Madison Rehm; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was born near Athabasca and raised in the Colinton area. Edith served in the R.C.A.F. as a wireless operator, farmed east of Athabasca and worked at Blunt’s Nursing Home and Athabasca Post Office. Edith was a very kind and considerate person and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Edith was predeceased by her parents Rayner and Elizabeth Whiteley, husband Daniel Rehm, son Donald Rehm, and grandson Joshua Rehm.
In memory of Edith, please join the family on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Athabasca Seniors Centre between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm for a memorial get together. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edith may be made to the Athabasca Health-Care Centre Auxiliary Association.
