Eva Gizycki

Eva Gizycki of Athabasca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 99 years.
Eva was born in Torki, Poland and moved to Canada with her husband Walter in October 1948. She lived on a farm in the Spruce Valley District. There they raised their son Brownie and daughter Josie.
Walter passed away in 1976. Eva bought a trailer and moved into it in 1977. In 2004 Eva called Pleasant Valley Lodge home. In October 2016 Eva moved to Extendicare.
Eva enjoyed playing cards, bingo, cooking and sewing.
Eva will be missed by her son, Brownie and his partner Bernice, daughter Josie and her husband Larry, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Athabasca Community Chapel.
